CC Neurostimulation

The CC Neurostimulation of the upper respiratory tract is mainly concerned with patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea. In the meantime, this therapy has become part of routine clinical care - also known as "tongue pacemaker".

Numerous systems with different stimulation approaches are currently undergoing clinical trials / approval and new developments. In the future, these appear to significantly expand the therapeutic spectrum of treatment options. The working group Neurostimulation is pursuing these approaches.

However, not only the neurostimulation of the upper respiratory tract plays an increasingly important role, but also the therapy of other chronic diseases with the help of neuromodulation (e.g. chronic tension headache, arterial hypertension, pain syndromes, etc.) is moving into the field of the scientific working group.

Should you as a patient decide to undergo therapy with neurostimulation of the upper airways in case of obstructive sleep apnea, you are welcome to make an appointment with us.

If you as a research group or industrial partner are looking for a cooperation with us, please write an e-mail or contact us by phone.
